Enjoy your BC strawberries…from your stored supplies. Hopefully you got enough of those juicy delicious red strawberries in the picking season and you are now able to enjoy the fruit of your labour.
Our 2007 strawberry harvest has come and gone. Generally it was a good season. The harvest started fairly late but the cool wet weather extended the picking season. Most growers were very happy with the length of the strawberry season and the crop quality. Growers are now doing their end of season farm work to be sure that next crop year is an even better one.
A huge thank you goes out to all who supported our BC Strawberry growers this year. We greatly value the tremendous support from consumers and media. Strawberry growers want to build on this support and do an even better job next season in supplying the best possible BC Strawberries.
